1. If 1,ooo Bayous are great, 2500 have got be even better!

   I initially bought 1,000 of these bullets about 6 months ago. They shot great in my 1911, Model 625 5", and my Model 25-5 4". Trail Boss and this bullet are a real winner in the 45 Long Colt cartridge. Exceptional accuracy, no smoke, minimal (if any) lead fouling, and no lead exposure while while shooting or handling. One thing though- the coating on Bayou Bullets makes them feed like polished round nose FMJ bullets when chambering, but kind of hard to hold onto when getting them into my Dillon 550!    they never let me down thats all i buy for years i get as many that will fit in a box and love it but my mail man does not and thats why i love to get the big box as often as i can!

4. Shot line bullets for bullseye shooting

   This 185 SWC will shoot X Ring at 25 yd with my wad gun , loaded with WST 4.1gr OAL 1.255 , going to shoot them at Canton Regional and National match at Perry in July . Unknown on 12th Jun 2015

5. first time user

   I was looking for lead bullet for my 45's and I had mentioned that to a friend and he told me about Bayou Bullets so I looked them up online and placed an order. They arrived in a short time. I loaded some up and the first time I noticed was no dirty fingers took them out and shot them and no smoke and they shot very well. I will be ordering more. Unknown on 23rd May 2015

6. Love this product.

   We shoot indoors and the fact that there is no big puff of lead smoke is very important to me.
   
   The coating leaves no traces in the barrels of my Les Baer .45.
   
   I've tried both 185 grain as well as 200 grain swc Bayou's and at 50 feet see no difference in poi. Unknown on 6th Mar 2015

7. Shoots great,loads great!

   I've reloaded for over 25 years for bullseye shooting with lead and tried these last year and I will never go back to plain lead again. I've used these in 3 1911's, Custom Springfield bullseye, Kimber Gold medal and a Kimber carry. I've started shooting more action events, so I'm putting more rounds down range and a quick pull of a bore snake and barrel looks clean.

8. Happy customer

   I'm glad I found Bayou Bullets, I have loaded and shot almost 7000 rounds of the .45 ACP 185 SWC's and have not found a bad one in the bunch. The coating is awesome, the bullets recovered after hitting my AR 500 plates still have some coating on them and my barrels on my SR 1911, Springfield RO and my XDS 45 are staying clean, Thank you Donnie for a great product, I WILL order more.
