1. excellent consistency and higher velocity

   I've loaded and shot about 1500 coated Bayou Bullets in .45 ACP (200 gr SWC) over the past few months, replacing a moly-coated bullet I'd been using. Based on measured weights of several dozen bullets, the Bayou Bullets are more consistent with a 15% lower standard deviation. On top of that, these coated bullets run about 3% higher velocity for the same powder charge as my previous bullets. Better consistency and higher velocity are a good combination when you're trying to achieve power factor without adding extra margin.    Like a lead free barrel, love wax free reloading dies, they are as accurate as any I have fired before. Unknown on 1st Aug 2017

3. Another endorsement

   Here is another endorsement for Bayou bullets HG68 200 SWC. They shoot great with VV N320 or VVN340. They leave the barrel extremely clean. I see no reason to use jacketed bullets in my pistols anymore for practice or matches. Eric Kennard on 18th Jun 2017

6. Best 45 ACP bullet for paper targets

   These are addicting rounds to shoot. The SWC places enormous holes in paper targets and seems to be an accurate round as well. What's nice about the Bayou version of this SWC, is the beveled edges on the base of the bullet, which make seating the bullet on a case a little easier. I've went through a couple of boxes already, and loaded to 1.25" OAL I only get about 1% with FTF issues in my Wilson 1911. For paper target shooting it's not a big deal, but I do prefer to run a round-nose bullet for action shooting games, as they never hang up. Shane Gorski on 12th May 2017

7. The best

   I've tried several different types of 200 grain SWC bullets over the years; lead, polymer coated, jacketed, and plated. These are the best ever, less smoke, less barrel fouling, and as accurate as any of the others. 9. Great bullet value

   I have been shooting these bullets for over 2 years for IDPA competitions. I can honestly say that they shoot very well, load up clean and don't lead up my Glock barrel at all. As far as a coated lead bullet they are the best bang for the buck... pun intended. And the folks at Bayou are on the job when you order.
