.38/.357 160 Gr. RN - Sized to .358 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
This bullet is extremely popular with IDPA, USPSA and ICORE shooters, shoots very accurately in stock revolvers and with it’s pointed nose and no shoulder these bullets speed load extremely well. Works great with .38 short colt brass too. Requires a taper crimp.
In .38 Super Revolvers we recommend these be sized to .357
For my short colt loads. BB continues to provide an excellent product. It was a bit of a wait for this order but they were able to keep the prices low in spite of the pandemic and two or three hurricanes. Unknown on 19th Nov 2020
I won my class at the "Golden Bullet Championship" using 160gr. Bayou Bullets! Next is the World Revolver Championship, The ICORE Regional Championship, than the Az. State Championship. Thank you for getting the bullets I need for these matches and practice, to me sooner than I thought you could!!! Mark on 23rd Sep 2020
Excellent Revo bullets.
Thank you for the great service! Mark on 27th Jul 2020
Purchased the 160 gr nose maroon color... excellent bullet (might get more of lower gr; but I like the shape of these the best. Keith R. Kyle on 26th Jun 2020
I load these bullets in my Smith & Wesson 929 revolver chamber in 9 mm. At 20 yards from a rest I can shoot one inch groups. This load is very easy to reach 9mm minor for USPSA matches. Kim Parson on 24th Apr 2020
I have been using Bayou Bullets for over 8 years now. Even with this current situation we are in (lock down), they were quick to deliver. I think is was less then 2 weeks. Dennis and his team are always looking out for the shooters. Thanks for the great product and even better service. Earl Austin on 24th Apr 2020
On receipt I noticed the bullet had gone from a cast bullet with grease groove coated with Bayou's Coating to a swaged bullet with no grease groove and the same great coating. The new bullet is slightly shorter, weighs the same and the nose is a true round nose, vs the previous very small flat point.
It seated about .005" shorter.
On shooting I noticed no difference in velocity or accuracy.
I am pleased with the new bullet and will do more intensive accuracy testing soon. David M Williams on 10th Mar 2020
Loaded and shot. No complaints flatlander on 2nd Mar 2020
Been using this bullet in the .38 Short Colt and winning matches in action shooting. Running them at about 825fps in my .357 Magnum revolver. Unknown on 16th Oct 2019
I was fortunate enough to win the "Freedom ICORE Match" this past weekend at GCL. With 160gr Bayou's. GCL hosted the NE Regional ICORE match last year and held the freedom match concurrent with the uspsa "firecracker match" this year. Both great matches. Shot both with Bayou's and never had to think about my loads which helped a bunch with this much shooting in one weekend.
Thanks for helping with another win! Bayou's are my go to bullet!
